your money. Get an answer.

Use a prebuilt template or type your own question. The report comes back as a structured executive brief built from your actual numbers.

Built from your own transaction data Prebuilt templates + custom questions Plain-English executive brief output

In this walkthrough you are seeing how Clarity AI generates reports from your actual transaction data. You will see both the prebuilt report library and how to build a custom report by typing a plain-English question, selecting the date range and data sources, and reading the executive brief that Clarity produces. The key thing to notice: every figure in the output traces directly back to your categorized transactions — these are not estimates or benchmarks. They are your numbers, organized into a structured analysis.

How it works

Type a question. Get a structured brief from your own data.

1
Choose a prebuilt template or type your own questionThe report library has prebuilt templates for the most common needs — income analysis, expense review, tax prep summary, net worth snapshot, cash flow assessment, and more. Or type your own question in plain English: "How did my business expenses change over the last three months?"
2
Select the date range and data sourcesChoose the period the report should cover — a single month, a quarter, year-to-date, or a custom range. Select which accounts to include: business only, personal only, or both combined.
3
Clarity reads your data and writes the briefClarity AI analyzes your categorized transactions against the question you asked and produces a structured brief. Every figure in the output is pulled directly from your data — not estimated, not benchmarked, not fabricated.
4
Read the brief, share it, or use it to prepare for a conversationThe executive brief is readable in plain English. Share it with your accountant, use it to prepare for a financial review meeting, or keep it as a monthly record of your financial position.

Prebuilt report library

The questions most people need answered — already built.

These prebuilt templates are the starting point for most members. One click to run them against your data for any time period.

Income Analysis

Total income by source, month-over-month trend, largest income categories, and a plain-English narrative on whether revenue is growing, shrinking, or holding steady.

Expense Review

Expenses ranked by category, largest individual transactions, comparison against the previous period, and a summary of where the biggest spending shifts happened.

Tax Prep Summary

A structured summary of deductible categories, business income totals, owner draws, and items that may need documentation before tax filing — organized the way your accountant needs to see it.

Net Worth Snapshot

Assets, liabilities, and your current net position — updated from your latest account balances and categorized transactions. Shows whether your net worth improved or declined over the period.

Cash Flow Assessment

Timing of income and expense patterns, identification of months with cash flow pressure, and a plain-English explanation of whether the business is generating surplus or consuming reserves.

Business vs. Personal

How clearly the two sides of your finances are separated — business income and expense totals, personal income and expense totals, owner draw history, and any transactions flagged as potentially misclassified.

Why it's different

Not a chatbot. An analyst that knows your books.

Generic AI tools can talk about money in general terms. Clarity AI reads your specific transactions, your specific categories, and your specific patterns — and produces reports that are about your situation, not a hypothetical one.

Your data, not generic benchmarks

Every figure in a Clarity AI report traces directly back to your categorized transactions. It is not comparing you to industry averages or estimating based on general patterns — it is reading what actually happened in your accounts.

Ask in plain English

You do not need to know which tab to open or which filter to apply. Type "Why did my expenses spike in March?" or "Am I on track compared to last quarter?" and Clarity finds the answer in your data and explains it clearly.

Executive brief format — not a data dump

The output is a structured written brief — key findings, supporting figures, and a plain-English narrative. Not a table of numbers you have to interpret yourself. The report tells you what the data means, not just what the data is.

What the output looks like

A real brief. From real numbers.

Notable shift: Marketing expenses were $0 in Q1 vs. $1,100 in Q4. If marketing spend is paused intentionally, no action needed. If it was an oversight, this period may have an activity gap.

Common questions

Got questions?

Your actual data. Every figure in a Clarity AI report is pulled directly from your categorized transactions inside Money Mastery. Clarity AI does not use industry benchmarks, averages, or estimates — it reads what actually happened in your accounts for the period you select.
You can ask questions like "Why did my expenses increase in March?", "Which expense categories are growing fastest?", "Am I generating positive cash flow this quarter?", "How does my income this year compare to last year?", or "Which transactions should I review before tax filing?" The more specific the question, the more targeted the brief Clarity produces.
Clarity AI works with whatever data has been categorized. If you have three months fully categorized and one month partially done, the report will note which period has complete data and which has gaps. Completeness of your categorized data directly determines the completeness of the report output.
Yes. Reports can be exported and shared. Most members use Clarity AI reports as a preparation step before their accountant meetings — they get the financial picture clear in their own head before the conversation, which makes the meeting more productive and saves on billable accountant time.
Clarity AI and the full report library are included in every Money Mastery plan — Self Starter, Momentum, and Fierce Financials. There is no separate subscription, no AI add-on, and no upgrade required to access the report builder or any of the prebuilt templates.
