CRITICAL NOTICE: Money Mastery System processes highly sensitive financial data including bank account information, transaction histories, income records, expense details, and personal financial documents. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and share your financial information. By using Money Mastery, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.
1. DEFINITIONS
For purposes of this Privacy Policy:
- "Service" or "Money Mastery" means the Money Mastery System, a Google Apps Script-based financial management platform provided by Donna Roggio LLC
- "We," "Us," "Our," or "Licensor" means Donna Roggio LLC
- "You," "Your," or "User" means the individual or entity using the Service
- "Personal Data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person
- "Financial Data" means all financial information processed by the Service, including transactions, accounts, balances, and financial documents
- "Processing" means any operation performed on Personal Data or Financial Data, including collection, recording, storage, retrieval, use, disclosure, or deletion
- "Third-Party Services" means external platforms integrated with Money Mastery, including Google Workspace, Plaid, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
2.1 Financial Data
Money Mastery collects and processes the following financial information:
2.1.1 Bank Account Information
- Bank account numbers, routing numbers, and account types (checking, savings, credit)
- Financial institution names and connection credentials (via Plaid)
- Account balances, available credit, and credit limits
- Account ownership information (individual, joint, business)
2.1.2 Transaction Data
- Transaction dates, amounts, and descriptions
- Merchant names, categories, and transaction types
- Pending and posted transaction statuses
- Transaction location data (if provided by financial institution)
- Check numbers, reference numbers, and transaction IDs
- User-assigned categories, tags, and notes
2.1.3 Income and Expense Records
- Income sources, amounts, and frequencies
- Expense categories and spending patterns
- Budget allocations and financial goals
- Savings rates and investment contributions
2.1.4 Financial Documents
- Uploaded receipts and invoice images
- Tax documents and year-end summaries
- Financial statements and reports
- Payment confirmations and verification documents

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
3.1 Primary Service Delivery

- Provide Financial Management Tools: Enable transaction categorization, budget tracking, spending analysis, and financial reporting
- Synchronize Bank Accounts: Connect to your financial institutions via Plaid to automatically import transactions
- Generate Reports and Analytics: Create income statements, expense reports, cash flow analyses, and trend visualizations
- Power Clarity AI: Provide AI-driven financial insights, spending recommendations, and personalized coaching advice
- Store Financial Documents: Manage uploaded receipts, invoices, and tax documents in secure cloud storage
3.2 Service Improvement and Development
- Analyze Usage Patterns: Understand which features are most valuable to improve user experience
- Identify and Fix Bugs: Debug technical issues and resolve software errors
- Develop New Features: Create enhancements based on user needs and feedback
- Optimize Performance: Improve load times, reduce errors, and enhance system reliability
3.3 Customer Support and Communication
- Respond to Support Inquiries: Address technical questions, troubleshoot issues, and provide assistance
- Send Service Notifications: Alert users about system updates, maintenance windows, and security incidents
- Deliver Educational Content: Provide tutorials, best practices, and financial management tips
- Facilitate Group Support Calls: Coordinate monthly support sessions for Momentum and Fierce Financials users
3.4 Security and Fraud Prevention
- Detect Unauthorized Access: Monitor for suspicious login attempts and unauthorized account activity
- Prevent Data Breaches: Implement security measures to protect against hacking and data theft
- Verify User Identity: Authenticate users to prevent account takeovers
- Audit System Access: Log all data access for security audits and compliance
3.5 Legal and Compliance
- Comply with Legal Obligations: Respond to subpoenas, court orders, and lawful government requests
- Enforce Terms of Service: Detect and prevent violations of our End User License Agreement
- Protect Our Rights: Defend against legal claims and protect our intellectual property
- Tax and Financial Reporting: Generate year-end tax summaries and financial statements for users
4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
IMPORTANT: We do not sell, rent, or trade your financial data to third parties for marketing purposes. We only share your information as described below.

4.2 Authorized Users
Depending on your plan, you may authorize up to 2-3 additional users (accountants, bookkeepers, spouses, business partners) to access your Money Mastery data. You are solely responsible for verifying the identity and trustworthiness of Authorized Users.
4.3 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will provide notice before your information is transferred.
4.4 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law or in good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal processes or protect rights.
5. DATA SECURITY MEASURES
- Encryption in Transit: TLS 1.2+ encryption for data transmission
- Encryption at Rest: AES-256 encryption for stored data
- OAuth 2.0 Authentication: Secure Google login
- Access Controls: Role-based access limitations
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account credentials and reporting suspected breaches to support@risingandthriving.com.
6. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
We retain financial transactions indefinitely for historical analysis unless you request deletion. Account information is kept for the duration of your active license plus 7 years for compliance.
6.3 User-Requested Deletion
You may request deletion of your data at any time by sending a written request to support@risingandthriving.com. Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.
