Accept All in the Clarity View
Accept All is either your most efficient move or your most expensive mistake — depending on whether you checked the pattern first. One button. Massive upside when used right. Massive cleanup when used wrong.
Why This Button Needs Respect
Accept All applies every AI suggestion currently visible in the Clarity tab in a single click. That means if Clarity has surfaced 20 rows and 3 of them are wrong, Accept All confirms those 3 wrong categorizations at the same speed as the 17 correct ones.
In the Categorization modal, click the Clarity filter tab. This gathers every row where the system has a suggested categorization — separating them from the Uncategorized, Income, and Expense views.
The row count badge on the Clarity tab tells you exactly how many suggestions are waiting. That number is what Accept All will act on if you click it without narrowing further.
Before touching Accept All, look at what's actually in the Clarity tab. Read the suggested categories and ask: are these rows obviously the same kind of thing?
The demo below shows a mixed Clarity batch — some rows are ready to accept, some aren't. See if you can spot which ones shouldn't be mass-accepted:
Accept All works brilliantly when the visible rows share a genuinely consistent pattern:
- Clearly repeated subscriptions (same merchant, same amount, every month)
- Obvious recurring payroll or direct deposit rows
- Very consistent, low-ambiguity deposits with no personal/business split question
It works much worse when merchants are vague, mixed-use, or context-dependent — like AMAZON.COM, VENMO, or any row where the business/personal routing matters.
The right sequence for any bulk AI action — including Accept All — is always the same:
- 1Review — open the Clarity tab and read what's there before touching anything
- 2Apply — click Accept All only after confirming the pattern is stable
- 3Verify — do a quick scan of the rows immediately after accepting to confirm the results look right
Do not assume speed removed the need for confirmation. The scan after is what turns a bulk action into a trustworthy batch.
